The Coastal Christian Jog-a-thon is Back!
For those of you who have been a part of this event in the past, you know it's one of the most exciting and enjoyable fundraisers of the year. This year we will be raising money for our new campus and for two new Smart Boards!
 
The Jog-A-Thon track is about 1/8 of a mile. Last year, most students ran/walked/jogged between 15-25 laps. Our top runner (Jeremiah Wright) ran 41 laps.

  • The class that raises the most money will receive their choice of a pizza party or an ice-cream sundae party!
  • The three students who complete the most laps in each class will receive medals. 
  • The top lap runner from the whole school will receive a party at Doc Burnstein's where they can invite 7 friends *and* invent their own ice cream flavor!

    Important Dates:
  • April 22: The day you can start taking pledges!  Be sure to ask friends, family, neighbors, co-workers...every donation, large or small, counts!
  • Friday, April 30th, May 7th and May 14th: Coin Grab Days! (Pledge sheets and money need to be turned into the office in an envelope by the Thursday before at 9am to be entered for the prize).
  • May 19th and 20th: Jog-A-Thon Days! Each class will run for 40 minutes.
  • May 25th: All pledge sheets and donations (including per-lap pledges) must be turned in by this day in order to qualify for prizes.
  • May 27th: The Prize Assembly!
     
    How It Works:
  • Sign up supporters and list the amount they pledge on the form. Collect all donations before the event (other than per lap pledges which can be collected after). Please ask the donors to make their checks payable to Coastal Christian School (or CCS).
  • Turn in your donations and pledge sheets to the Jog-A-Thon box in the school office.
  • After the event, please collect any outstanding pledges. All pledges must be turned in to the office by Tues. May 25th, 3pm to qualify for prizes.
