Be a Part of Our Vision |
We have made revisions and refinements to our original drawings, as we have incorporated the numerous review comments, requests and requirements from the varying governing authorities. We have studied and documented the impacts that we anticipate our project will incur and have proposed mitigation measures that we hope will satisfy environmental concerns. We are proposing a project that we believe is visually attractive, sensitive to the environment, respectful of our neighbors and still meet the functional demands and educational requirements of our students.
CCS has obtained a “will-serve letter” from the City of Pismo Beach for community sewer service. We have made our previously drilled water well functional, in an effort to establish and document our water usage and rights. We have made a formal request for permission to use our well for domestic water service. Prior to receiving this approval, we need to provide a comprehensive water availability assessment report, which will identify our water demand, as well as the safe yield of the aquifer and any impacts on local streamflow, wetlands, public wells and private wells. This will be an important document, as water will be a primary determining factor if we will need an environmental impact report. The estimated cost for this report is approximately $31,000 and will take approximately 3 months to complete."

"Coastal Christian Proposes to Build New School"
Click here to read a Times Press Recorder article about our school's building project. Please keep the school, its administration and the County Supervisors in your prayers as decisions about the Oak Park campus are being made.
The Future of CCS
The vision of Coastal Christian School is to build a Christian school with distinction.
We are seeking to build a K-12 program that offers an extensive liberal arts curriculum that will also include life-science, music, art, drama, sound engineering, video production, athletics, industrial arts, and agriculture.
Our new campus will be built to provide students, their families, and our community with unsurpassed education experience. We refer to the new campus as The Oak Park Campus because it is located off of Oak Park Boulevard in Pismo Beach. The campus will be located on a 28 acre parcel overlooking the Arroyo Grande Valley.
