PARENT INVOLVEMENT is ESSENTIAL at CCS
ONE OF THE KEYS TO STUDENT SUCCESS IS PARENT SUPPORT

Christian education is rooted in the eternal Word of God. "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it." Proverbs 22:6. But the school can and should not do it alone. Parents and teachers are partners in this noble endeavor. To that end we ask parents to ---

HAVE HIGH EXPECTATIONS FOR YOUR STUDENT -- Studies clearly show that parent and teacher high expectations push learners to their best. Expect good grades and good behavior. Expect participation in school activities. Expect college.

KEEP INFORMED -- Know about major assignments and tests, monitor grades, follow the school event calendar. Use Parent-Web at least weekly.

ATTEND FUNCTIONS -- Your student wants to see you there. Encouragement comes just from attending and cheering.

VOLUNTEER -- The school "runs on a shoestring" and survives because of the parent volunteers doing a miriad of tasks. See some of these tasks on the right.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT -- You may think tuition is high and pays for everthing, but compared to other private schools, tuition is very low. For it to stay low, we need the many donations by parents, grandparents, alumni, and dedicated supporters of Christian education. Support CCS every way you can.
